PRODUCTION MANAGER

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily production activities and schedules.
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved.
• Monitor production output, quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Supervise and lead production personnel and team leaders.
• Assign tasks and manage manpower according to production requirements.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company policies.
• Identify production problems, delays, defects, and bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, Maintenance, Warehouse, Purchasing, and other departments.
• Monitor the proper use of raw materials, equipment, and other resources.
• Minimize production downtime, waste, rejects, and operating costs.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and submit production reports and performance updates to management.
• Ensure machines and equipment are properly maintained in coordination with the Maintenance team.
• Train, coach, and evaluate production employees.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive working environment.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production/manufacturing, preferably with supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, and process improvement.
• Leadership and people-management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or Six Sigma is an advantage.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, or holidays when required.
