What they need
United Food Truck, LLC is looking for a Production Manager who knows how to keep a busy custom-build operation moving.
Our projects aren't coming off an assembly line exactly the same way every time. Each food truck or trailer can have different layouts, equipment, finishes, electrical requirements, plumbing, fabrication work, and customer specifications.
That's where this role comes in.
What you'll be responsible for
The Production Manager will oversee day-to-day production and help make sure projects move through the shop safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
You'll coordinate the people, materials, equipment, and priorities behind each build.
Responsibilities include:
- Plan and manage daily production schedules
- Assign work and coordinate production teams across active builds
- Track projects from fabrication through assembly and final completion
- Make sure materials, parts, and equipment are available when needed
- Work closely with purchasing, sales, design, and project teams
- Identify production delays and resolve issues before they affect delivery dates
- Monitor workmanship and quality throughout the build process
- Help coordinate fabrication, electrical, plumbing, equipment installation, and finishing work
- Keep production areas organized and operating safely
- Track labor, project progress, rework, and production priorities
- Help improve shop processes, workflow, and productivity
- Provide clear updates on project status and expected completion dates
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, automotive production, commercial equipment, construction, or a similar hands-on production environment.
Previous experience supervising a production team is strongly preferred.
Food-truck experience is helpful, but it isn't required. Candidates coming from trailer manufacturing, automotive upfitting, RVs, metal fabrication, commercial kitchens, specialty vehicles, or other custom manufacturing environments are encouraged to apply.
You should be comfortable managing multiple projects at once, solving problems on the floor, and holding people accountable for quality and deadlines.
A technical or college degree is welcome but not required when backed by strong relevant experience.
This is a hands-on management position.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable being out in the production area, talking with the team, checking progress, solving bottlenecks, and making sure the day's priorities actually get done.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- 401(k)
- Dental insurance
