JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to manage production operations at a corrugation and packaging manufacturing plant.

The candidate will be responsible for production planning, material planning, manpower coordination, production monitoring, quality coordination, and achieving production and delivery targets.

Candidates with hands-on experience in corrugation, packaging manufacturing, production planning, PPC, or manufacturing operations will be preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Planning & Control

* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer requirements and available capacity.

* Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.

* Coordinate with production teams to achieve planned output and delivery targets.

* Track production performance, machine utilization, and productivity.

* Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

Material Planning & Management

* Prepare material requirements based on production schedules.

* Coordinate with Purchase and Stores teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials.

* Monitor inventory levels and prevent material shortages or excess inventory.

* Ensure optimum utilization of raw materials and minimize wastage.

* Coordinate material movement between Stores and Production.

Corrugation Plant Operations

* Supervise day-to-day production activities across the corrugation plant.

* Ensure smooth operation of production machinery and processes.

* Monitor machine capacity and production efficiency.

* Coordinate with Maintenance to minimize machine downtime.

* Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.

Team & Manpower Management

* Lead and supervise production operators, supervisors, and shop-floor personnel.

* Allocate manpower according to production requirements.

* Monitor employee productivity and discipline.

* Conduct regular production meetings and communicate targets to the team.

* Support training and development of production staff.

Quality & Process Control

* Coordinate with the Quality team to maintain required product standards.

* Ensure production is carried out according to approved specifications.

* Identify recurring quality issues and implement corrective measures.

* Minimize rejection, rework, and production losses.

MIS & Reporting

* Maintain daily production reports and performance records.

* Prepare production and material planning reports for management.

* Monitor production KPIs including output, productivity, machine utilization, material wastage, rejection/rework, downtime, and on-time production.

* Provide regular production updates to senior management.

REQUIRED SKILLS

* Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Control (PPC)

* Good understanding of material planning and inventory management

* Experience in corrugation or packaging manufacturing preferred

* Strong shop-floor management skills

* Manpower handling and team leadership

* Problem-solving and decision-making abilities

* Coordination with Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams

* Good communication and reporting skills

* Ability to work under production deadlines

EDUCATION

Graduate in a Technical or Non-Technical discipline.

Candidates with relevant experience in Corrugation, Packaging, Manufacturing, Production Planning, PPC, or Manufacturing Operations will be preferred.

EXPERIENCE

5–10 years of relevant experience in Production Management, Production Planning, PPC, or Manufacturing Operations.

COMPENSATION

₹5–7 LPA

Compensation may be discussed based on relevant experience, skills, and current compensation.

LOCATION

Mandideep, Madhya Pradesh

Candidates from Bhopal, Mandideep, Raisen, and nearby areas may be preferred due to the on-site nature of the role.
