Production Manager

About the role

Tai Wo Tung Medicine Company Limited is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our operations team in Tsuen Wan. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role in overseeing our pharmaceutical and traditional medicine manufacturing operations. As Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient, compliant, and high-quality production across our facilities. This role is integral to meeting our production targets, maintaining regulatory standards, and driving operational excellence throughout the manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities

·         Organize and coordinate daily production activities and on-site operations

·         Oversee production scheduling and resource allocation

·         Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all products meet company standards and regulatory requirements

·         Build, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency.

·         Monitor production metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions

·         Manage production staff, including training, supervision, and performance management of team members

·         Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the production facility

·         Liaise with supply chain and inventory management teams to coordinate material availability and stock levels

·         Prepare production reports and forecasts for senior management, providing insights into operational performance

·         Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste

·         Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to maintain operational continuity

What we're looking for

·         Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Production Management, or a related discipline.

·         5 years or above experience in a production or manufacturing environment, at least 2 years pCM supervisor or management experiences.

·         Solid working experience in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management

·         Excellent leadership and team management capabilities with proven track record of motivating staff

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions

·         Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to work effectively across departments
