Production Manager

Core Responsibilities

Department / FunctionKey Duties & ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & Execution Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.

• Manage machinery operations: Panel Saws, Edge Banding, CNC Machining, Multi-Boring, and Assembly.
• Oversee the entire cycle: Cutting, drilling, polishing, packing, and dispatch.Material & Cost Control Verify Cutting Lists to optimize board and raw material usage.
• Track inventory levels for boards, high-end hardware (e.g., Hettich, Blum), adhesives, and consumables.
• Implement Lean, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies to drastically reduce scrap and rework.Cross-Functional Coordination

Align closely with the Design Team to troubleshoot approved drawings and measurements before cutting. Manage and upskill a diverse crew: Supervisors, engineers, machine operators, and carpenters.

• Coordinate with Procurement for material availability and the On-site Installation Teams for smooth handovers.Quality & Safety Compliance Maintain absolute dimensional accuracy and strict quality control benchmarks.
• Minimize customer complaints and factory rejections.
• Enforce strict workplace safety guidelines and machine maintenance logs.Team Leadership
• Handle workforce planning, shift rotations, and performance evaluations.

Key Specifications & QualificationsAttributeRequirements & BenchmarksEducation Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering**, Wood Technology, or a related discipline.**Experience 3 to 7+ years of hands-on experience in the modular furniture/interior manufacturing industry.

• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.Technical Skills Deep knowledge of modular joinery, hardware mechanisms, and panel materials (MDF, HDF, Plywood).
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and production tracking tools.
• Ability to interpret complex AutoCAD / 3D structural drawings.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
