Production Manager

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production activities.
• Ensure production schedules meet customer delivery requirements.
• Monitor production output, machine loading, capacity utilization, and manpower allocation.
• Coordinate with Sales, Planning, Engineering, Purchasing, and Quality departments to resolve production issues.
• Ensure efficient utilization of CNC machines, equipment, tools, and other production resources.
• Review machining methods, tooling requirements, cycle times, and process capability.
• Work closely with Manufacturing Engineer and CNC Programmers to improve machining processes and reduce cycle time.
• Ensure proper setup, first-piece approval, and production process control.
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance/Quality Control team to prevent defects and minimize rejection rates.
• Investigate root causes of quality problems and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead, supervise, and develop production supervisors, engineers, technicians, CNC machinists, and operators.
• Allocate manpower according to production priorities and employee skill levels.
• Establish clear performance targets and monitor individual and team performance.
• Identify training needs and develop employees' technical and supervisory capabilities.
• Maintain discipline, teamwork, accountability, and effective communication within the production department.
• Minimize machine breakdowns and production interruptions.
• Ensure machines, tools, fixtures, and measuring equipment are properly maintained.
• Enforce workplace safety, housekeeping, 5S, and applicable occupational health and safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
