Production Manager

Our client is a leading global industrial product manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee CNC machining, assembly, testing, internal logistics, and warehouse operations. The successful candidate must have strong hands-on CNC turning and milling expertise, proven experience leading large production teams, and a track record of improving productivity, quality, and delivery performance.
• The role requires a hands-on leader who can drive lean manufacturing, optimise production processes, develop people, and work effectively with cross-functional teams and international management.
• Oversee CNC turning and milling, mechanical and electromechanical assembly, testing, internal logistics, and warehouse operations.
• Manage production planning coordination, capacity utilisation, manpower, material availability, and delivery commitments.
• Monitor KPIs, including OEE, on-time delivery, scrap and rework, labour productivity, and inventory turnover.
• Ensure product quality, workplace safety, 5S, and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Implement and sustain lean practices, including 5S, standard work, SMED, TPM, Kanban, value stream mapping, and structured problem-solving.
• Reduce setup times, cycle times, production lead times, waste, and inventory.
• Drive measurable improvements in productivity, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Optimise CNC machining processes, tooling, fixtures, programming methods, cycle times, and cost per part.
• Improve assembly and testing processes for high-variety, small-to-medium production batches.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years in production management.
• At least 10 years of hands-on CNC turning and milling experience, with strong knowledge of tooling, fixtures, CNC programming logic/CAM, machine capability, and cycle-time optimisation.
• Proven experience leading production teams through supervisors and team leaders, preferably with 100+ employees.
• Demonstrated success in lean manufacturing, productivity improvement, and production performance management.
• Experience in mechanical or electromechanical assembly and testing.
• Experience in machinery investment, automation, and capital expenditure projects.
• Strong production planning, capacity management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Native-level Thai and business-fluent English.
