Production Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all manufacturing activities. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring production, safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency objectives are consistently achieved while supporting the company's overall business goals. The Plant Manager will lead cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can balance strategic planning with daily operational execution, ensuring customer requirements are met while promoting a safe and productive work environment. Through strong leadership, effective decision-making, and a commitment to continuous improvement, the Plant Manager will play a critical role in the long-term success and growth of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all aspects of manufacturing operations to meet production targets efficiently.
• Enforce strict safety standards in production areas, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Lead and motivate production teams, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
• Implement and uphold GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) protocols to ensure product quality and safety.
• Oversee the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all team members to maintain a safe working environment.
• Manage heavy lifting procedures safely by training staff on proper techniques and equipment use, reducing injury risks.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues quickly and effectively.
• Extensive experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on safety standards in production settings.
• Knowledge of GMP guidelines and best practices for maintaining high-quality manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in implementing safety protocols, including PPE use and heavy lifting procedures.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work atmosphere.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating across departments and ensuring clarity of operational goals.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, including 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven experience in production planning, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement initiatives.
