Production Manager

Shock Stream Tech is seeking an experienced and highly organized Production Manager to oversee manufacturing and fabrication operations. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of managerial experience in a manufacturing or fabrication facility, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and productivity.

Experience with AS9100 quality management standards is required. Experience in defense contracting is a plus. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of coordinating production activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established quality requirements and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing and fabrication operations to ensure production goals and deadlines are met.
• Manage, coordinate, and support production personnel to maintain productivity and accountability.
• Monitor production schedules, workflow, and resource allocation to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 quality management standards and applicable company procedures.
• Coordinate with quality, engineering, and other departments to resolve production issues and maintain product quality.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, workflow, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor production progress and address delays, bottlenecks, and quality concerns.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
• Promote a culture of safety, organization, continuous improvement, and attention to detail.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and personnel are appropriately coordinated to meet production requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in a manufacturing or fabrication facility.
• Experience working with AS9100 quality management standards.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and meet production deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in defense contracting or the defense manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and production process optimization.

Compensation

Starting salary of $75,000 per year, with compensation based on qualifications and relevant experience.
