Production Manager

We are looking for our well-established international partner company an experienced Production Manager , to support the further growth of their Hungarian operations: the role involves overseeing production and maintenance processes at their site in Eastern Hungary . This position offers grate opportunity to drive operational excellence, lead high-performing teams, and contribute to the development of advanced manufacturing solutions.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all production and maintenance activities
• Take full responsibility for the performance of all production lines
• Plan production schedules, priorities, and resource allocation
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, cost, delivery, and environmental standards
• Promote and sustain lean manufacturing principles
• Develop, maintain, and execute predictive and preventive maintenance programs
• Manage, coach, and develop production and maintenance teams
• Support training and professional development activities
• Oversee spare parts inventory management
• Contribute to annual maintenance and facility-related budgeting processes
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability

Required competencies

• College/ University degree, preferably in engineering field
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a relevant manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of production and maintenance processes
• Fluent German and Hungarian language skills
• Proven experience with lean manufacturing principles
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management abilities
• Results-oriented and proactive mindset
