Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead a small electronic assembly team (approx. 15 technicians) responsible for building anti-drone jammer and RF detection products. This role requires someone who is comfortable working closely with technicians, supporting troubleshooting, and improving assembly methods for electronic and RF modules.

This is not a large-scale factory role. Our production environment focuses on precision hand-assembly, small-batch builds, and continuous technical support for PCB, RF cabling, and electronics integration work.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the electronics assembly line and ensure effective use of manpower, tools, and materials.

• Work closely with Engineering and Project teams to understand product requirements and plan production schedules to meet build deadlines.

• Provide hands-on support to technicians — including troubleshooting PCB issues, RF cables, connectors, and small electrical assemblies.

• Identify build issues early, collaborate with engineers on design adjustments, and improve assembly processes for reliability and repeatability.

• Track production progress and provide timely updates to management on delivery status and workload planning.

• Ensure material readiness, including components, PCBs, RF cables and sub-assembly kits required for production.

• Train, guide, and supervise production technicians to maintain consistent build quality.

• Maintain basic workplace organisation, safety, and component handling discipline (ESD, storage, cleanliness).

• Perform other related duties as required to support daily production operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Mechatronics, or related discipline.

• 3–5 years of experience in electronics hardware production, PCB assembly, RF module assembly, or small electronic components assembly.

• Strong understanding of:

• PCB handling and soldering basics

• Small electrical harnesses and RF cables (SMA, coax, shielding, etc.)

• Electronic troubleshooting and rework

• Experience leading or supervising a small production team is an advantage.

• Comfortable in a hands-on OEM environment where production and engineering work closely together.

• Good command of spoken and written English.

• Possesses a valid driving licence.

• Able to travel when required.
