Production Manager Position

Job DescriptionPRODUCTION MANAGEMENT

• Analyze and process ERP exception messages (MRP messages) for manufactured items and adjust short-term orders for items managed via the ERP's Net Requirements Calculation (NRC)
• Open Manufacturing Orders (MOs) & Check the availability of supplies (internal and external) on the planned requirement dates
• Review daily with the shop floor regarding its capacity to handle MOs on the planned dates and adjust short-term orders if necessary
• Release MOs on the dates confirmed by the shop floor
• Process subcontracting phases within the MO
• Ensure the availability of components in the shop floor from the warehouse
• Monitor work-in-process with the shop floor and ensure the availability of missing parts
• Reschedule MOs with the shop floor
• Process production requests exceptional (component non-conformity, overconsumption, etc.), and monitor the availability of these materials in the workshop
• Inform the RUAP and the planner of manufacturing deviations
• Schedule and define the weekly warehouse workload
• Update the tracking files
• Analyze the RAL Spare Parts and the OTD lines daily, communicate the list of references to be delivered to shipments
• Supervise the inventories of work-in-progress stock and respect the schedule established by Finance -

• Report difficulties to the business manager
• Participate in business rituals and the rituals of their sector
• Analyze the performance indicators of QRQC2 Production and QRQC2 Production Planning and Management, and propose improvement actions
• Propose improvements to business standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in their business
• Respect Health and Safety rules, Safety and Environment and participate in the implementation of the HSE Management System.
