Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Do you enjoy motivating teams, solving problems, and achieving production goals? We are looking for a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee production operations, ensure workplace safety, and lead a high-performing team during our second shift operations.

Shift Operates : Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing production line operations to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity goals are achieved. You will lead, coach, and develop production employees while maintaining compliance with company policies, procedures, and union agreements.

This position requires a strong leader who can effectively communicate expectations, drive continuous improvement, and foster teamwork across departments.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate production employees.
• Communicate performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback.
• Conduct employee training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of team members.

Production Operations

• Monitor production processes and ensure workflow efficiency.
• Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and product changeovers.
• Assign workstations, manage staffing levels, and oversee shift schedules.
• Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Track production results and prepare shift reporting.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and cost effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with plant leadership and other supervisors to improve processes.
• Support implementation of new equipment, systems, and best practices.

Safety & Compliance

• Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and operational procedures.
• Partner with employees to reinforce safe work practices.
• Maintain positive labor relations by following the collective bargaining agreement.

Communication & Collaboration

• Conduct daily shift meetings and communicate operational priorities.
• Coordinate effectively with Plant Managers and fellow Production Supervisors.
• Facilitate collaboration between production, maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams.
