Production Manager/Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our collision shop team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of production processes. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality control, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff to meet production goals.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
• Implement Continuous Improvement initiatives to optimize workflow.
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Utilize SAP systems for tracking production metrics and reporting on performance.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills in production
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery, applying mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and accountability among staff.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a Collision repair shop.
• Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies, including Lean Repairing principles.
• Proficiency in Estimating and Mitchell repair center systems is highly desirable.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Experience in quality control processes and standards within a production setting.
• Ability to fabricate and assemble products as needed, ensuring high-quality output.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• A commitment to fostering a culture of Continuous Improvement within the team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
