PRODUCTION OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to oversee daily shopfloor activities, monitor manufacturing progress, and support on-time delivery performance.

This role works closely with cross-functional teams to identify operational challenges, maintain production visibility, and ensure effective coordination between manufacturing operations and customer delivery functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing performance and evaluate actual production results against established schedules and targets.
• Monitor work order status throughout the production process to ensure timely completion and delivery.
• Identify potential bottlenecks, material shortages, and operational disruptions that may affect production timelines.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, and Quality teams to address issues and maintain smooth operations.
• Provide regular updates on shopfloor performance, order fulfillment, and delivery status to relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the Customer Delivery Office to communicate production progress and highlight potential delivery delays.
• Assist in revising production schedules and prioritizing orders based on real-time manufacturing conditions.
• Track corrective actions and recovery plans to minimize the impact of production interruptions.
• Prepare and maintain accurate operational reports covering production output, order status, and key delivery performance indicators.
• Escalate significant operational risks and unresolved issues to management for timely decision-making.
• Ensure effective information sharing and operational continuity during shift transitions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Good understanding of manufacturing operations, production workflows, and shopfloor activities.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data tracking, reporting, and analysis.
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with different departments and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and capable of working independently in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to operational challenges.
• Willingness to work on a shift schedule when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in production coordination, manufacturing operations, production planning, PMC, or related functions.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent systems.
• Experience in manufacturing environments with demanding production schedules and delivery targets.
