Production Operations Manager

About the Role

As a Production Operations Manager, you will lead our manufacturing efforts by orchestrating complex production workflows and driving operational excellence. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring our facility meets high-performance standards and customer delivery targets.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive production strategies to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Cultivate a high-performing team by overseeing recruitment, professional development, and daily personnel management.
• Drive operational efficiency by implementing Lean Manufacturing methodologies and optimizing resource allocation.
• Maintain rigorous compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards across all production lines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline workflows and share best practices for organizational growth.
• Manage departmental financial performance, including budget monitoring and cost-control initiatives.
• Lead change management efforts to modernize processes and improve overall output quality.
• Prepare the facility for ISO system audits and ensure all administrative documentation meets quality system requirements.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 8-10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Deep technical understanding of assembly processes and production planning.
• Proven track record in managing budgets and workforce development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in high-pressure settings.
• Working knowledge of OH&S regulations and employment law.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, TPS, or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience navigating matrix organizational structures.
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale process improvements.
