The Pie House at Cinderhill Farm Ltd is a growing, award-winning food business with a passion for great ingredients, local sourcing and high-quality food production.

From our purpose-built facility, we produce a range of pies, pasties and other products, and as our business continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Production Apprentice to join our friendly team.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career in food production, gain practical workplace experience and develop new skills while working towards an apprenticeship qualification.

No previous experience is required, as full training and support will be provided.

The Role

As a Production Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced members of our production team and learn all aspects of our food production process.

Your duties will include:

• Preparing ingredients and food products
• Assisting with the production and assembly of pies, pasties and other products
• Learning to use kitchen and production equipment safely
• Assisting with cooking and frying processes following full training and supervision
• Following food hygiene, food safety and health and safety procedures
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised
• Supporting the team to complete daily production orders
• Helping with stock checks and reporting any shortages or issues
• Learning to work across different areas of the production facility

This role may be particularly suitable for a school or college leaver, or someone looking to take their first step into a career in food production.
