Production Operative

This is a hands-on production role involving the manufacture of paste and powder products for both customer orders and in-house stock. Accuracy and attention to detail are absolutely critical, as you will be working with specific formulations and ingredient measurements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Accurately weighing and measuring ingredients
• Preparing and mixing powder blends and paste formulations
• Following production instructions and batch records
• Maintaining high standards of quality and consistency
• Completing relevant production documentation
• Ensuring work areas are clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety requirements
• Working independently to meet production schedules

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or mixing environment
• Has experience weighing ingredients and following recipes, formulas, or production instructions
• Possesses exceptional attention to detail
• Has excellent timekeeping and attendance
• Can work independently and take ownership of their workload
• Is reliable, organised, and proactive
• Is comfortable carrying out repetitive production tasks while maintaining quality standards

Desirable (but not essential)

• Health & Safety qualifications or related training
• Food, pharmaceutical, feed, supplement, chemical, or manufacturing experience

Working Hours & Breaks

• Working hours: 08:00 - 16:30
• Morning break: 15 minutes
• Lunch break: 30 minutes (unpaid)
• Afternoon break: 15 minutes

Pay: £13.00-£13.75 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
