Production Operative (Skilled)

We are currently recruiting Skilled Production Operatives to join in Pilgrim's Europe - at Dungannon site. The successful candidates will be responsible for processing product within their department and ensuring hygiene, quality, and health & safety standards are maintained at all times. A key element of the role is working as part of a team to ensure that production KPIs are met.

Week 2 – Wednesday/Thursday – 6:00 am – 6:00 pm

Week 1 Monday/Tuesday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday – 6:00 am – pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Product processing (e.g., filleting, sealing, trimming, basting, packing, defeathering, evisceration – depending on area of work)
• Responsibility for personal health & safety and that of other colleagues
• Ensuring quality standards are consistently achieved
• Maintaining hygiene standards
• Product packaging and boxing
• Product weighing
• Rotation of duties and flexibility to support other areas of the factory
• Meeting productivity standards
• Operating machinery safely and efficiently (training provided)
• Carrying out any additional duties as required

What We’re Looking For:

• Ability to read and write in English (depending on area of work)

• Good numeracy and communication skills

• Willingness to work in a factory environment

• Previous food production or factory experience

• Awareness of the Food Processing Industry

• Knife skills or previous experience in butchery

• Data entry / computer keyboard skills Top of Form
