About the Job:

We're looking for an experienced Production Operator (A-Operator / Person in Charge) to join our Production / Field Operations team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing oil and gas well production. You'll operate essential field equipment, ensure environmental and safety compliance, and help drive maximum daily production. As our team grows, this position will lead and direct the work of additional operators.

What You'll Do:

• Serve as Person in Charge (PIC) on location
• Inspect and maintain field equipment such as motors, pumps, valves, and gauges
• Operate compressors, engines, heaters, pumps, and boats
• Record oil and gas production data, tank levels, and system pressures
• Prepare and submit daily production reports
• Perform well tests and manage chemical injection rates
• Respond to field issues (e.g., mechanical failures, pressure anomalies, spills)
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: 5+ years in oil and gas well production; mechanical experience a plus
• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Certifications: HAZWOPER (required); Boater Safety (preferred)
• Skills: Strong problem-solving and leadership, clear communication and recordkeeping, physical stamina and tolerance for outdoor conditions

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Outdoor, physically active role, at times in extreme weather conditions
• Frequent lifting, carrying, walking, and equipment operation
• Medium physical labor with occasional heavy lifting
• High exposure to noise, vibration, and atmospheric conditions

Pay: $22.00 - $38.00 per hour
