Production Operator

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor food production machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Follow strict food safety procedures, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) protocols, to prevent contamination and ensure product integrity.
• Assist in preparing ingredients and packaging materials according to production schedules.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including batch records and quality checks.
• Support cleaning and sanitation efforts in line with food safety standards to uphold a hygienic work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Skills

• Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations.
• Mechanical aptitude with basic understanding of machinery operation and troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, calculating quantities, and recording data accurately.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new processes and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting.
