Production Operator

We are currently seeking reliable Production Operators / Forklift Operators to join a well-established Australian manufacturer based in Geebung, specialising in PVC pipe and plastic extrusion products.

This is a hands-on manufacturing role working across extrusion, production and packing operations, with the opportunity to build your skills in a supportive and safety-focused environment.

Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for candidates with previous manufacturing, production, warehouse or machine operating experience.

Day and afternoon shift opportunities are available.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion, production and packing equipment safely and efficiently
• Complete machine start-ups, shutdowns and tooling changes
• Monitor production processes and carry out quality checks
• Check product temperature, diameter, finish and overall quality
• Accurately record production and quality information
• Pack, strap and label finished products correctly
• Operate forklifts and side-loaders to move raw materials and finished products
• Load, unload and safely position materials throughout the facility
• Identify equipment issues and assist with basic troubleshooting
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area
• Follow all company WHS and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Current LF Forklift Licence – essential
• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse or machine operating experience
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to identify and report basic equipment faults
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling up to 25kg
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Safety-focused approach to all tasks
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Flexible to work day or afternoon shifts
