Production Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Production Operator to join our team in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery, ensuring quality output, and maintaining efficient production workflows. This position is essential to meeting our production targets and maintaining the high standards our customers expect from Prescon Philippines, Inc.

Key responsibilities

1. Operate production machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
2. Monitor production processes and machine performance to ensure consistent output quality and efficiency
3. Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards before packaging or shipment
4. Maintain accurate production records, including output quantities, downtime, and any issues encountered
5. Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments
6. Report equipment malfunctions or quality issues immediately to supervisors and assist in troubleshooting problems
7. Follow all health, safety, and environmental protocols to maintain a safe working environment
8. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines
9. Assist with inventory management and material handling as required

What we're looking for

1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification
2. Proven experience as a Production Operator or similar manufacturing role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
3. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to operate industrial machinery safely
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
5. Physical capability to perform manual duties and stand for extended periods
6. Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to noise and machinery
7. Previous experience with quality control or machinery troubleshooting is advantageous
