Job Overview

Boran Mopack Ltd is expanding due to growing customer demand, increased product volumes, and ongoing machinery investment. As part of this growth, we are seeking new Production Operators across multiple departments to support our continued success.

Role Overview

The Production Operator will assist Senior Operators, support daily manufacturing activities, and ensure products are produced to the highest quality standards. This role requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently within a fast‑paced production environment.

Shift Overview
As we are recruiting across multiple departments, there are 2 main shift patterns we offer.

Option 1 – 40 Hours per Week (Rotating 3‑Shift System)

• Week 1: 06:00–14:00 (Monday–Friday)
• Week 2: 14:00–22:00 (Monday–Friday)
• Week 3: 22:00–06:00 (Sunday night–Friday morning)

Option 2 – Continental Shifts

This role follows a two‑week repeating rota, alternating between day and night shifts.
Each shift is 12 hours.

Shift Times:
Day Shift: 06:00–18:00
Night Shift: 18:00–06:00

Two‑Week Rota:

• Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday
• Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
• 2 weeks of day shift followed by 2 weeks of night shift.

Role Responsibilities

• Assist a Senior Operator with all aspects of order set‑up.
• Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
• Complete roll changes, including removing rolls from the press, recording details, and palletising.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets while maintaining high standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised work area and comply with all health and safety regulations.
• Accurately record production data and report discrepancies or concerns to supervisors.
• Collect, stack, and label finished products for packaging and shipping.
• Follow all company safety protocols, including correct use of PPE.

Skills

• Experience in a production/factory environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
• Ability to work rotating shift patterns.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.

We believe in training and developing our staff to ensure our employees can progress with their employment. Once the successful candidate has completed general operative training, there will be opportunities to progress to a Senior Production Operative role, taking responsibility for operating production machinery and producing product to required specifications.
