Production Operator

About the role

P S T P EMS inc. is seeking a dedicated and reliable Production Operator to join our manufacturing team in General Trias City, Cavite. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our production operations, ensuring the efficient and safe manufacturing of our products. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to our commitment to excellence in manufacturing. This role is essential to meeting our production targets and maintaining the high standards our customers expect from us.

What you'll be doing

• Operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Performing routine inspections and maintenance checks on production equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Monitoring product quality throughout the production process and identifying any defects or irregularities
• Recording production data, including output quantities, machine parameters, and any issues encountered
• Following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production progress and any equipment malfunctions
• Contributing to a clean and organised work environment by maintaining production areas and adhering to housekeeping standards
• Assisting with product packaging and labelling as required
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting ways to enhance efficiency and safety

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience as a production operator or in a similar manufacturing role
• Strong understanding of machinery operation and basic troubleshooting
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
• Ability to work safely and follow all health and safety regulations
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
• Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work shift patterns as required
• Basic mathematical skills for recording production data
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and equipment
