Production Operator

Aotea Health is a skincare company that uses indigenous native ingredients to make unique skincare products. Our kawakawa balm is renowned for it's healing properties and we base a lot of what we do on Maori Rongoā. We are an innovative group of people whio really care for what we do.

We are looking for a reliable and physically fit Production Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing essential production tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our skincare manufacturing process. The role involves repetitive tasks such as mixing, filling, labelling, and packaging skincare products, as well as handling materials (up to 20kg) safely and efficiently.

You will operate production equipment, follow established safety and hygiene standards, and ensure that all products meet Aotea’s high-quality expectations. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

While previous manufacturing experience is beneficial, full training will be provided. You will work closely with other team members to meet daily production targets and contribute to the overall success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repetitive production tasks such as mixing, filling, capping, labeling, and packaging products.
• Safely lift and move materials (up to 20kg) during production.
• Operate and maintain production equipment while ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Adhere to all quality control, safety, and hygiene procedures.
• Keep the production area clean and organized, following company protocols.
• Meet daily production goals and collaborate with the team to achieve targets.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Experience in manufacturing or production is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness.
