Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely following established procedures and safety standards
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and mechanical knowledge to assemble components accurately
• Interpret technical drawings, production documents, and work orders to ensure precise execution of tasks
• Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments and ensure products meet specifications
• Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and material movement within the production area
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety protocols and lean manufacturing principles
• Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements to workflow or safety practices

Skills

• Proven experience in factory or manufacturing environments with familiarity in assembly line operations
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and use measuring instruments effectively
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and warehouse equipment such as measuring devices
• Knowledge of safety standards in production, lean manufacturing practices, and process improvement methodologies
• Ability to manage production documentation accurately and interpret work instructions or technical manuals
• Experience with managing or supporting production teams, ensuring safety protocol adherence and efficient workflow
• Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and manual assembly tasks

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 48.0 per week
