Production Operator

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking motivated Production Operators who enjoy hands-on work, value quality and want to be part of an established Australian manufacturing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing components and surfaces for coating, including cleaning, masking and general surface preparation.
• Assisting with abrasive blasting, chemical pre-treatment, powder coating and protective coating processes.
• Loading, unloading, hanging and handling parts throughout the production process.
• Ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are followed throughout the production process.
• Following all workplace health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and job specifications.
• Following work instructions, production schedules and quality procedures.
• Documenting production data and maintaining accurate records for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and customer requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• At least AQF Certificate II qualification in Manufacturing, Production Machinery or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of surface treatment and industrial coatings.
• Ability to interpret coating systems and technical drawings.
• Good attention to detail and a strong focus on product quality and consistency.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions carefully.
• A reliable, practical and positive approach to work.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team.
• Ability to follow production procedures, technical instructions and safety requirements accurately.

Pay: $52,880.00 – $80,000.00 per year
