Production Operator – Miscellaneous Crew

Role & Responsibilities:

· Responsible for operating the dunnage machine.

· Responsible for unloading raw material trucks, including paper and glass mat rolls Responsible for. stacking/storing raw materials in the warehouse.

· Responsible for emptying trash hoppers throughout the plant.

· Requires operation of a forklift, waste truck, man lift, and other mobile equipment, including. inspections prior to use.

· Responsible for inventory counts on raw materials.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Ability to safely work in a manufacturing environment and follow all plant safety rules and practices.

· Treats other employees with dignity and respect in all situations.

· Maintains teamwork and a focus on effective communication.

· Maintains a high standard for housekeeping within the work area.

· Basic computer skills needed for data entry and reporting, as well as Visual Work Instruction creation.

· Ability to be trained on safe, proper operation of mobile equipment.

· Ability to troubleshoot minor issues in the production process.

· Recognizes unsafe conditions or hazards within work area.

· Ability to make machine and process adjustments to ensure product is within required specifications.

Additional Information:

· Shift: Rotating Day, 8 hours, 7am – 3pm.

· Department: Raw Material Unloading

· Pay Rate/Range: $27.50/hr

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
