Plateco is a growing plating facility in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, and we are expanding our Production Team due to increased customer demand and continued company growth.

We are hiring Production Operators for both 2nd and 3rd Shift, including positions on our newly added 2nd Shift.

These are growth positions — we are adding employees because our business is expanding, not because of turnover. This is an exciting opportunity to join Plateco during a period of growth and help build our expanding production operation.

Schedule & Pay

2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
$23.00 - $27.00/hour + $3.00/hour 2nd Shift Premium

3rd Shift: Sunday night – Wednesday night, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
$23.00 - $27.00/hour + $2.00/hour 3rd Shift Premium

Pay-for-Performance & Advancement

What You'll Do

• Operate rack lines according to customer work orders and production requirements.
• Rack and unrack a variety of metal parts to be zinc plated.
• Properly position parts on racks to ensure quality plating.
• Follow work orders, production instructions, and quality requirements.
• Monitor production processes and maintain production goals.
• Inspect parts for proper placement and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Train to become a backup operator when other operators are absent.
• Learn additional production processes and equipment.
• Work with the team to meet daily production and quality goals.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Production or manufacturing experience preferred, but we will train the right person.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to follow work orders and detailed instructions.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Safety-minded and committed to following company procedures.
