Production Planner

About the role

PT Dynacast Indonesia is a leading manufacturing Die Casting Process in Batam, Riau islands. We are seeking a talented Production Planner to join our team. As a Planner, you will play a crucial role in the production, planning and scheduling processes, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of our products to our customers. This is a full-time position based in our Batam facility.

As a Production Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth production processes through effective planning and scheduling. Main responsibilities include:

• Manage master planning (Production weekly schedule) to sub planning to production or suppliers
• Updated the planner paperwork, such as production plan and monitoring the output to meet delivery commitment.
• Able to manage priority plan and weekly review top customer root cause analysis and action taken with production.
• Understand process flow and organize to production and get the update information and share to related section in charge to keep smooth planning.
• Understand production capacity and escalate to superior for the issue to get win solution.
• Share forecast update and delivery schedule to supplier.
• Maintain and update Purchase Order and commitment from local customer thru email and customer web portal.
• Maintain delivery commitment follow with customer ramp plan and update the report.
• Arrange delivery the parts to customer include document of shipment information and Delivery Order.
• Provide regular reporting and updates to management on production progress and any issues or risks
• Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure smooth and timely execution of production plans

What we're looking for

• Minimum education: D3/S1 in Industrial Engineering, Operation Management or related field

• Basic understanding of production planning and supply chain preferably in the manufacture industry

• Detail-oriented, organized, and thorough.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments.

• Experience in Production Planner is an advantage.

• Proficient in using production planning and scheduling software, as well as MS Office applications

• Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to respond quickly to changing priorities and requirement
