Production Planner

At our manufacturing plant in Suchdol nad Lužnicí, we produce molded-case and air circuit breakers, printed circuit boards, and switchboards. We are currently looking for an experienced colleague to join our team in the position of Production Planner .

The task of low voltage systems - data centres - Production Planner is to ensure a smooth and economical production process within given and agreed production capacities in a sequence which reflects customer project timeline.

Job profile:

• Creation of work orders for low voltage assembly considering project size and Bill Of Materials, customer requested delivery dates, availability of material, available capacity on the shop floor and priority
• Consideration of capacity utilization, production lot sizes and availability of tools/equipment
• Matching needed components to the right assembly step
• Using semi-automated component loading process into SAP work order or manual entry
• Tracking scheduled start/finish date versus actual start/finish date and material availability
• Optimization of SAP parameters with regard to parts availability
• Inventory optimization in line with LEAN principles
• Planning and confirmation of customer and stock transfer orders
• Coordination with other plants for delivery date changes for required components for low voltage assembly Reduction of excess and obsolete inventory

We would like you to bring:

• High school education
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (production planning/preparation)

Experience in one of the following areas: Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing Operations (Warehouse Order Management)

• Proficiency in SAP
• Analytical thinking and problem solving
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Good written and spoken and Czech, English for internal communication
