Production Planner

1.0 Job Responsibilities

• Review CTB, responsible for BOM full kit and ATP status, and identify material shortages
• Analyze, maintain, and execute MRP, verify customer forecasts and demand changes
• Manage escalations for critical items and ensure material availability to support production per the MPS through MRP execution, on-time delivery, and coordination of material movement from receiving to production
• Clear challenging inventory and manage E&O (End of life & Obsolete) disposition activities
• Follow up closely with the Buyer team to ensure shipments arrive on dock as per schedule
• Participate in ECN/PCN activities together with the Engineering team
• Partner with Buyer/Commodity teams to develop material strategies and buffer plans to best meet customer shipping requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems and drive supply chain solutions
• Other additional work tasks or additional roles assigned by the superior

2.0 Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in electronic components purchasing within the EMS industry

• Familiarity with Oracle, ERP, and MRP systems

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
