Production Planner

Production Planner

We are seeking a Production Planner to join our team at T.F. METAL INDUSTRIES SDN. BHD., based in Menglembu, Bukit Merah, Perak. As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating production activities to ensure orders are completed on time and production runs smoothly.

What you'll be doing

1. Schedule incoming orders based on marketing forecasts, customer orders, and production capability.
2. Develop and maintain production schedules according to demand and inventory levels.
3. Coordinate with the Operation Engineer to determine customer order requirements.
4. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules when there are changes in priorities, material availability, or unexpected issues.
5. Ensure production activities are completed on time to meet delivery deadlines.
6. Coordinate with the Procurement team to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
7. Monitor production performance and prepare reports for the Operation Engineer.
8. Follow up closely with the relevant departments to ensure production schedules are achieved.

What we're looking for

1. Diploma in Operations Management or a related field.
2. Minimum 2 years of working experience in the manufacturing industry or a relevant field.
3. Strong data analytical skills.
4. Good follow-up skills and accountability.
5. Good coordination and communication skills.
6. Ability to plan and organise production activities effectively.
7. Ability to monitor production progress and respond to changes or unexpected issues.
8. Willing to work closely with production, procurement, and operation teams.
