Production Planner

Industry: Steel manufacturing

Working hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

About the role:

We are looking for an organized Production Planner to manage daily manufacturing schedules, material availability, and resource allocation. The Production Planner will streamline production workflows, bridge cross-departmental communications, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure on-time product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement optimized production plans to maximize resource utilization and adhere to master schedules.
• Monitor daily production activities and analyze schedules to ensure material availability when needed.
• Prepare comprehensive material schedules and issue purchase requests based on confirmed sales orders.
• Plan and manage raw material inventories to prevent operational downtime and maintain uninterrupted production.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and support teams to resolve production issues and line bottlenecks.
• Partner with Sales and Warehouse teams to ensure seamless material handling, inventory control, and timely product delivery.
• Support workflow enhancement initiatives to boost operational efficiency and overall output quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates possessing relevant qualifications are welcome to apply.
• Practical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Solid understanding of core production scheduling, inventory control, and material planning concepts.
