Production Planner

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving production efficiency and ensuring our customers receive their orders on time.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning & Coordination:

• Prepare picking slips for production, allocating materials and machines efficiently
• Work closely with production teams to ensure resources, equipment, and materials are ready to hit targets
• Track customer orders and proactively resolve issues to keep deliveries on time
• Spot opportunities to improve processes, reduce lead times, and optimize resources
• Maintain production reports and KPIs to keep stakeholders informed

Inventory Management:

• Coordinate with Export and Import teams for smooth order flow
• Keep warehouse materials well-organized and properly stocked
• Support mid-year and year-end stock takes, plus periodic inventory checks
• Prepare transfer forms for inter-warehouse material movement
• Any ad-hoc tasks, duties or projects as required by HOD or management

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications and experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related fields.
• Preferably at least 2 years of relevant production planning and control experience in fast-paced environments.
• ISO related knowledge will be advantageous.
• Fresh graduate is welcomed.

Key skills:

• Strong IT skills, specifically Excel for reporting, Word & PowerPoint
• Strong organization and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and meet deadlines
• Experience with ERP system will be an added advantage
