The HMA Group, a Multi-disciplined engineering and project management organisation is looking for a talented Production Planner to join our Wear Solution division in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Production Planner
(Jakarta Selatan-DKI Jakarta)

The key objectives of this position will be to support the greater sales team in all aspects of drafting to produce both sales related concepts and manufacturing drawings suitable for production.

The ideal candidate will need to satisfy the following criteria:

Key responsibilities:

1. Work with Indonesian team in the agreed direction of Wear Solutions Operations Manager – Australia
2. Working with and reporting to the various Production Managers around Australia to ensure all delivery schedules and lead times are maintained to ensure client expectations are met.
3. Processing of Orders – Planning Sheets, Flange sheets, all materials required, sub-contracting – e.g., pressings, painting.
4. Using the company ERP/CRM to input labour, materials, and control stock.
5. Purchasing job-specific materials and services and liaise with sub-contractors, suppliers, stores, accounts, and management.
6. Monitor production to resolve issues.
7. Maintaining stock levels for all stocked materials required for the manufacture of our equipment.
8. Checking drawings and manufacturing check sheets to assist with manufacturing issues.
9. Achieve an objective of no rework due to the delivery of quality work.
10. Achieve any KPIs implemented and agreed upon for this position.
11. Project Management includes working to contract requirements, developing, and updating master pack lists, control of registers e.g., RFI, completing Progress Reports, coordinating packing and despatch, and housekeeping of project documents and files.
12. Compiling MDR’s and ITP’s
13. Direct Management, Supervision, and Training of all Wear Solutions Production Planning Resources in the Indonesian Office.
14. Ensure, influence, and empower all Planners to execute their role and use initiative for problem-solving to ensure all performance targets are achieved.
15. Drive a culture consistent with HMA values and goals.
16. Provide clear direction and set expectations for planning methods under your responsibility and provide input into necessary tools to improve our processes.
17. Deliver pre- and post-contract services and ensure that the quality of output of the production from HMA is in line with the needs of the customer and regulatory authorities.

Core competencies and skills:

Essential:

• Minimum of 2-4 years’ planning experience in supervisory level with production in an engineering environment
• Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience with piping system
• Possess strong computer skills around the Microsoft Office suite.
• Able to effectively manage one’s time.
• Ability to work within the company's QA system and Code of Business Conduct
• Fluent in English with good verbal, written, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Highly Motivated & Enthusiastic
• Excellent time management
• Ability to work autonomously

Ideally the successful candidate will have a strong engineering background. We are looking for people who are "hands on", can think for themselves and have the drive to get the project completed on time. A solid understanding of engineering and technical principles is required along with the ability to effectively communicate details and objectives within factory - production teams, operation teams, drafting teams, project management teams, sub-contractors, and clients.
