We are seeking an experienced and analytical Production Planner to support manufacturing operations in Villalba, Puerto Rico.

This role is responsible for coordinating production schedules, material requirements, inventory availability, and demand to ensure an efficient and continuous manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will have experience with MRP and Demand Planning, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functional areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor production schedules based on demand, material availability, capacity, and operational requirements.
• Use MRP (Material Requirements Planning) to support production and material planning activities.
• Coordinate material requirements to ensure the timely availability of raw materials, components, and approved finished goods.
• Monitor work in progress (WIP), inventory levels, material availability, and potential supply or production disruptions.
• Identify material shortages, scheduling conflicts, and potential operational risks and proactively recommend solutions.
• Prepare and coordinate work orders, purchase requirements, stock transfers, and other material movement activities.
• Support production planning based on master production schedules, inventory requirements, and manufacturing capacity.
• Coordinate the availability of equipment, personnel, materials, and other resources required to meet production schedules.
• Communicate production status, material constraints, priorities, and potential disruptions to key stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Engineering, Inventory Control, Supply Chain, and Demand Planning teams.
• Analyze planning and inventory information to support effective decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Support initiatives to improve planning processes, material flow, inventory management, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Approximately 3 years of relevant experience in Production Planning, Materials Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Planning, or a related function.
• Hands-on experience with MRP and Demand Planning.
• Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to changes in production requirements.
• Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, life sciences, electronics, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
• Knowledge of production scheduling, inventory management, material requirements, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience identifying and resolving material shortages, capacity constraints, and production scheduling issues.

Pay: $72,800.00 - $79,040.00 per year
