Production Planner

Industry: Mobile Phone Repair, Refurbishment & Remanufacturing

Educational Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Qualifications

• Preferably with 1–2 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing, operations, or supply chain.
• Experience in electronics, mobile phone repair/refurbishment, or manufacturing is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, including basic data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, inventory monitoring, and workflow management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Job Summary

The Production Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and coordinating production activities to ensure that mobile phones and electronic devices are remanufactured according to customer requirements, production capacity, quality standards, material availability, and committed delivery schedules.

The position serves as the coordination point between Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Sales/Customer Service, and Management to maintain a smooth and efficient production flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain daily and weekly production schedules based on workload, priorities, and required completion dates.
• Monitor production progress and ensure that targets and schedules are being met.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisors and Team Leaders regarding manpower allocation, production capacity, and work priorities.
• Check material and parts availability and coordinate with Warehouse and Procurement for shortages or replenishment.
• Monitor the movement of units through different production stages, such as triage, repair, testing, refurbishment, cleaning, and packing.
• Identify potential delays, bottlenecks, or capacity issues and coordinate with concerned departments for resolution.
• Adjust production plans and schedules based on changes in workload, material availability, manpower, or urgent requirements.
• Maintain accurate production planning records, reports, and monitoring sheets.
• Prepare regular reports on production status, output, pending units, and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure that production schedules consider inspection and rework requirements.
• Work closely with Operations and other departments to support the timely completion of customer or client requirements.
• Assist in analyzing production data to identify areas for improved productivity and efficiency.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php32,000.00 per month
