Production Planner

Job Summary

The Production Planner is responsible for supporting production and material planning activities to ensure customer demand, production schedules, and inventory requirements are met effectively. This role coordinates with Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, Customer Service, and related teams to monitor material availability, follow up shortages, maintain planning data in MRP systems, and support daily operational planning. The position requires strong attention to detail, good analytical skills, and the ability to communicate and follow up with cross-functional teams to achieve on-time delivery and smooth production flow.

Key responsibilities

• Execute material and production planning to support customer demand and production schedules.
• Monitor material shortages, inventory status, and supply performance; coordinate corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Review demand forecasts and sales orders to maintain accurate production plans.
• Maintain planning master data, work orders, and planning parameters in MRP systems.
• Track planning performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Prepare planning reports and provide planning updates for operational review meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
• 2–5 years of experience in Production Planning, Material Planning, Inventory Control, or Supply Chain Operations.
• Knowledge of MRP, production scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as Oracle or SAP is preferred.
• Good understanding of material availability, shortage management, and supply planning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Good command of English.
