PRODUCTION PLANNER

PRIMARY FUNCTION

• Creates and maintains details production schedule
• Release work orders/drawings and manage production requirements to meet delivery schedule.
• Monitoring of schedule and identifies root causes for deviation with recovery plans and communication with stakeholders
• Ensure KPI/targets for production are met
• Production load balancing
• Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders so to achieve customer’s satisfaction and manufacturing efficiency with reasonable costs.

SCOPE OF DUTIES

• Overall capacity planning and updating of schedule
• Conduct daily/weekly production/project meeting with various sections
• Liaising with other departments to resolve production issues, projects, design, store, QC, etc
• Propose area to be improved to increase productivity or products quality
• Analyze collected data collection for improvement
• Monthly report for management

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Diploma in related fields
• 2-3 years relevant job experience in manufacturing industry
• Possess analytical skills and good with figures
• Able to work under stress and fast paced environment
• Good interpersonal, communication skills in both written and verbal in English and local languages
• Possess good organizing and management skill
• Good literate in MS office
