Duties

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in production management systems, ERP software such as SAP, and lean manufacturing principles to drive efficiency and operational excellence.

• Develop detailed production schedules aligned with customer demands, inventory levels, and capacity constraints using advanced ERP systems like SAP and MRP modules.
• Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure raw materials and components are available for production runs.
• Monitor production progress daily, identify bottlenecks or delays, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Utilize Excel data analysis techniques to evaluate production data, identify trends, and support process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing workflows through lean management practices such as Six Sigma and process improvement methodologies.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory levels, and scheduling adjustments to support supply chain analytics.
• Lead efforts in continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing waste, enhancing quality control measures, and increasing overall plant efficiency.
• Support plant management by providing detailed reports on production performance metrics and operational KPIs.
• Facilitate effective communication between departments to ensure alignment on production priorities and deadlines.
• Assist in implementing manufacturing management systems that enhance productivity while maintaining high standards of quality.

Experience

• Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment, ideally with exposure to assembly processes.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent enterprise resource planning software.
• Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning), lean manufacturing principles, and supply chain management strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data using Microsoft Excel for decision-making and process optimization.
• Experience leading or supporting process improvement initiatives utilizing Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
• Background in operations management or plant management is highly desirable.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively.
• Knowledge of quality control standards within manufacturing settings is advantageous.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
