Production Planner

Job Purpose:

Responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring production activities to ensure that production targets are achieved, customer orders are delivered on time, and resources and materials are utilized efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and maintain production plans and schedules based on customer orders, delivery deadlines, and production capacity.
2. Monitor daily production progress to ensure that production activities follow the planned schedule.
3. Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth production operations.
4. Check material availability and coordinate with the relevant departments to ensure sufficient materials for production.
5. Monitor work-in-progress (WIP), production output, and pending orders to identify potential delays.
6. Adjust production plans and schedules when necessary to accommodate urgent orders, material shortages, or production issues.
7. Analyze production data and prepare reports on production status, capacity utilization, and delivery performance.
8. Follow up on delayed orders and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure on-time delivery.
9. Maintain accurate production planning records and update the production schedule regularly.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
11. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Experience in production planning, production control, or a related position is preferred.
• Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of production processes, inventory management, and material planning.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical skills

• Detail oriented
• Able to Dedicate to work hard and able to work well under pressure.
• Good command in English
• Experience in jewelry manufacturing or a manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
