Production Planner

Description

• Oversee the scheduling and timeliness of the production process to ensure all deadlines are met.
• Plan, schedule and monitor production of products.
• Determine production capacity and limits.
• Evaluate raw materials and equipment to ensure both are in place for production.
• Report on the production status and any production issues to the Supervisor.
• Liaise on production disruptions and productivity problems and recommend solutions to maintain or mitigate impact to the schedule.
• Utilize data to help drive a schedule that improves productivity and cost.
• Review backlog and make recommendations to adjust resources as needed to maintain profitability goals,

Requirements

• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods.
• Ability to interact well with internal and external customers.
• In-depth knowledge of ERP software and Excel.
• Strong analytical skills.
• 3 years production planning experience in a related industry
