  • Monitor production activity, identify schedule risks, and coordinate recovery plans when priorities change.

  • Partner with Production Supervisors to address capacity constraints, improve schedule attainment, and support on-time delivery performance.

  • Communicate order status, delivery updates, and planning information to internal stakeholders and customer-facing teams.

  • Manage work orders, change notices, inter-plant transfers, and other planning-related transactions within company systems.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, KPI performance, and production control best practices throughout the organization.

What You'll Bring

  • Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Experience working with ERP, MPS, and MRP systems and production planning processes.

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate data and make sound decisions.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with operations, sales, purchasing, and leadership teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • APICS/ASCM certification or related supply chain planning training.

  • Experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP platforms.

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kanban systems, and Value Stream Mapping.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Work is performed in both office and manufacturing environments.

  • Regular interaction with production equipment, forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes.

  • Occasional exposure to high temperatures, noise, dust, and other manufacturing conditions.

  • Occasional travel to other Scot Forge locations may be required.

Why Join Scot Forge?

As a 100% employee-owned company, Scot Forge offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while sharing in the success you help create.

  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
