Production Planning and Operations Controller

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and maintaining production schedules based on demand forecasts, outlet requirements and customer orders.
• Coordinate daily, weekly and monthly production planning and ensure timely execution.
• Monitor production output, productivity, capacity utilization and manpower requirements.
• Support S&OP activities and coordinate with Operations, Procurement and Logistics to align production with demand.
• Monitor COGS, raw material usage, wastage, yield and production costs.
• Assist in inventory planning, material availability and stock level monitoring.
• Coordinate ad-hoc, catering, contract manufacturing and new product production requirements.
• Work closely with R&D and Marketing to support the commercialization and scaling of new products.
• Monitor product quality, food safety, shelf-life and cold-chain requirements.
• Prepare accurate and timely production and operational reports for management review.
• Identify operational issues, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement, and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce wastage and optimize production processes.
• Ensure compliance with food safety requirements, company policies, SOPs and relevant regulations.

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma/Degree in Production Management, Operations Management, Food Science, Supply Chain, or a related field.
2. Relevant experience in production planning, central kitchen, food manufacturing or F&B operations.
3. Good understanding of production processes, inventory control and cost management.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant reporting tools.
5. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
6. Candidates with experience in HACCP, GMP, ISO or food safety systems will have an added advantage.
