Production Planning

• Role responsible for demand analysis and forecasting, capacity and cost estimation, creation of daily/weekly/monthly production plans and liaising with procurement team/production team/others to resolve queries regarding production plan- for the CPD plant.
• Create accurate daily, weekly and monthly production plans for CPD plant.
• Communicate production schedules to procurement team and production team in a timely manner.
• Support procurement team for any and all queries to ensure on-time production and minimal wastages (also ensure that the disposition of all non-moving/slow moving items is done after receiving information from the Product Improvisation team about their expiry or utilization)
• Support production team in resolution of any and all queries to ensure on-time dispatch of FGs to clients (ensure that no client across product categories ends up with repeated delayed deliveries)
• Monitor and revise production plans as and when needed through continuous status-tracking of assigned work orders from punching in of sales order to delivery of finished goods
• Inform Assistant Manager - Planning (CPD) when on-time order production and subsequent delivery is in jeopardy for communication to clients/key stakeholders
• Analyse production performance data across plants to understand key accidents and root-cause of variances from production plans for future demand forecasting and proactive course correction
