Production Planning Control

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our client is an international manufacturer of power conversion solutions, with a manufacturing base in Vietnam. They are looking for a Shopfloor Controller to strengthen coordination between the production floor and customer delivery.

JOB PURPOSE

Support day-to-day production execution by monitoring shopfloor performance, tracking production progress and spotting delivery risks early. The role keeps information flowing promptly between Production, Planning, Material and the Customer Delivery Office so that delivery commitments are met.

Job Title: Shopfloor Controller

Working Hours: Rotating 3 shifts, changing every 2 weeks

Working Location: Thoi Hoa Ward, Ben Cat City, Binh Duong Province

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Track daily output on each production line and measure it against the plan
• Follow the progress of orders and spot possible shipment or delivery risks early
• Work with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Purchasing and Quality to resolve problems that threaten delivery commitments
• Keep daily production and delivery tracking reports accurate and up to date
• Chase material shortages and production constraints, and follow through on recovery actions
• Give the Customer Delivery Office live updates on shopfloor status
• Help adjust the daily production plan to match real conditions on the floor
• Raise critical issues to management when their attention is needed
• Make sure data on output, delivery adherence and operational KPIs is correct
• Support shift handovers and keep communication clear between shifts

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline
• Strong analytical ability and a careful eye for detail
• Solid understanding of manufacturing and production processes
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
• Good written and spoken English
• Responsible and able to work independently
• Willing to work shifts when required
• Able to handle pressure and juggle several priorities at once
• Background in production planning, PMC, supply chain or manufacturing operations is a plus
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or similar) is an advantage
