Production planning control executive (PPC)

EXECUTIVE - OPERATIONS PLANNING & CONTROL

LOCATION: Coimbatore HO

REPORTING TO: Head - Operations Planning & Control / COO

OVERALL ROLE BRIEF

Support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of operational activities to ensure timely and efficient execution of orders as per customer specifications and organizational requirements.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in preparing order costing details and share relevant information for pricing and execution planning.
• Support resource planning activities by collecting and maintaining data related to manpower, materials, and machinery requirements.
• Monitor operational costs at various stages of order execution and report deviations to the reporting manager.
• Coordinate with the Procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials as per required specifications.
• Track inventory levels and maintain records of material availability.
• Share product specifications with Production teams and follow up on execution status for both in-house and outsourced production units.
• Monitor order progress and highlight delays, bottlenecks, or operational issues to the reporting manager.
• Assist in implementing quality requirements and follow up on corrective actions where necessary.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of production plans.
• Maintain and update order tracking reports, production status reports, and operational MIS.
• Communicate order status updates to relevant stakeholders and support coordination between departments.
• Record and update changes in production plans based on customer or business requirements.
• Coordinate warehousing and dispatch activities to ensure timely delivery of finished goods.
• Maintain documentation related to costing, planning, production tracking, quality, and dispatch activities.

• Accuracy and timeliness of order tracking and status updates.
• Timely coordination of material and production requirements.
• Accuracy of operational data, reports, and documentation.
• Adherence to order timelines and execution schedules.
• Timely identification and escalation of operational issues.
• Effectiveness of coordination with internal departments and external partners.
• Accuracy of inventory, production, and dispatch records.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
