About the role

We are seeking a Production Planning & Control Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in planning and monitoring service work schedules, tracking Work in Process (WIP), and ensuring Work Orders are completed according to established targets. You will work closely with Parts, Warehouse, Procurement, Vendors, Quality Control, and other relevant functions to support smooth service operations and timely completion of service activities.

This position requires a detail-oriented, analytical, and well-organized professional who can monitor service progress, prepare work estimates, coordinate operational requirements, identify potential delays, and support schedule adjustments to maintain service lead time targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor service work schedules based on Work Orders, priorities, resource availability, and completion targets.
• Monitor Work in Process (WIP) and follow up on work progress to ensure timely completion.
• Monitor Work Order completion and document completeness through the closing and invoicing process.
• Prepare service work estimates based on manpower, spare parts, materials, working time, and cost requirements.
• Coordinate with Parts, Warehouse, Procurement, Vendors, Quality Control, and relevant functions to ensure service operational requirements are available.
• Analyze operational issues, update work schedules, and provide adjustment recommendations to the Service Supervisor to support service lead time targets.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience in production planning, service planning, workshop operations, or related functions will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of work scheduling, Work Order (WO), Work in Process (WIP), and operational monitoring.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify operational issues and potential delays.
• Good understanding of manpower, spare parts, material, working time, and cost estimation.
• Strong coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with Parts, Warehouse, Procurement, Vendors, Quality Control, and other relevant functions.
• Strong attention to detail in monitoring work progress and Work Order documentation.
• Good organizational and time management skills to manage multiple work schedules and priorities.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to follow up operational issues effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for scheduling, monitoring, data analysis, and reporting purposes.
